Our History
Established in 2002, Qingdao Lawada Yacht Technology Co., Ltd. is a company that specializes in the design, development and production of various types of fiberglass boats, aluminum alloy boats and steel boats. It is located at No. 6, Changsheng East Road, Jiangshan Town, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China, with a registered capital of 20 million yuan. Our new factory covers an area of 57.22 acres and a planned area of 38,000 square meters, and is equipped with 1 R&D center as well as 4 workshops. We integrate design, R&D and manufacturing, is capable to design and produce according to customer's needs.
Spending nearly 25 years of hard work, we have successfully manufactured and sold tens of thousands of boats of various types. During these years, we also obtained many shipbuilding qualifications, including ZC (Qingdao Ship Inspection Bureau), CCS (China Classification Society), ZY (Fishing Vessel Inspection Bureau), and Weapon Equipment Research and Production License. In 2014, Lawada passed the ISO 9001:2008 management system level certification and later passed ISO 9001:2015 in 2018 and 2022. Our company has exclusive brands and company trademarks, and has already established a complete R&D system and construction system.
Our company can produce various kinds of boats, including patrol boats, law enforcement boats, fire rescue boats, sports speedboats, drift boats, parasailing boats, wave-making boats, sailboats, passenger ships, pilot boats, etc. No matter from the aspects of overall quality, surface details, internal space, or speed, these boats designed and developed by us are in a leading position in the industry, especially the leading hull line design and outstanding appearance. They are unique in improving speed, reducing fuel consumption, and saving users' comprehensive costs.
So far, more than 100 government law enforcement patrol boats have been supplied to government units such as fishery law enforcement, marine fisheries, maritime border defense, rescue and lifesaving, and the State Grid. Our strategic partners are all over China, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Finland and other places.
At the same time, our company is the designated dealer of American Mercury Engine in China, specializing in the sales, after-sales, and maintenance services of Mercury engines for nearly 20 years. We are fully responsible for providing after-sales maintenance and warranty services to all customers of boat manufacturing companies.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, our company stood out from many bidders and was successfully selected as the designated supplier for the sailing events. Lawada provided the Olympic Committee with full safety guarantees for the entire ship and engine, and our after-sales service was commended and recognized by the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee.
